About this Product
Lovingly created, high quality print of an original art made by me. Each print is unique because it is retouched by hand to give it the feel of an original art.
This art celebrates the beautiful strong goddesses worshipped during ‘Navratri’..
‘Navratri’ is a Hindu festival honoring goddesses for nine days.
In my art, I have the all prevailing goddess Laxmi Ma , the goddess of wealth and prosperity and a few of her incarnations.
To her right is the gentle goddess ‘Sawaswathi’, the patron of arts and education. Then there is ‘Yashodha’ and her baby ‘Gopal’ who is the infant form of the God Krishna. To laxmis’s right is Goddess 'Durga', who protects and empowers.. then there is the fierce goddess ‘Kali’ who destroys evil.

Meet the Maker
As an artist, I love creating. I love to express myself and give form to my thoughts and emotions.
I work with oil, acrylics, charcoal and dabble a little in photography too. I also make hand painted unique gifts like coasters, jewelry boxes, make up pouches, tote bags... A whole lot of effort and love goes into each and every one of my art pieces. A bit of my soul finds its way into it. All my artwork is one of a kind and labor intensive.
My work provides an emotional window to a beautiful creation - woman. By exploring the different lenses of culture, mythology and religion, I express the myriad of emotions which define her. She dons many hats that test the limits of her endurance. She could be as mythical as a goddess or celestial being, or as real as the girl next door, but, she is the center of all my art. My art is a humble attempt at capturing her essence and is my tribute to her...
Over the course of time, I have had multiple requests for the same artwork and also for something that can fit everyones budget. So I decided to sell high quality prints of my paintings, drawings and photographs. What makes each print unique is that it’s painstakingly retouched by hand to give it the look and feel of an original art. So no two prints are exactly the same... they have individual little touches.
