How it’s Made
How It’s Made
Each of our handcrafted serving and ottoman trays is built with a commitment to quality, durability, and timeless design.
We begin with locally sourced hardwood, carefully hand-selected for its rich grain and natural beauty. Each piece is then milled by hand, ensuring precise dimensions while maintaining the wood's unique character. After milling, the boards are glued up and re-milled to achieve the perfect balance of strength and elegance.
Once the structural integrity is set, we move into pre-sanding to create a smooth working surface before transitioning to the CNC engraving process. Each custom engraving is cut deeply into the wood, providing a crisp, elegant finish that will last a lifetime. Unlike laser engraving, CNC engraving creates a more tactile and substantial impression, adding a refined, luxury element to every tray.
After engraving, the trays undergo multiple stages of resanding, refining every edge and contour to a flawless finish.
Finally, we apply a premium hard wax finish, which enhances the natural beauty of the wood while providing a durable, water-resistant protective layer. This finish not only preserves the tray’s elegance but also ensures longevity, allowing it to withstand daily use while aging gracefully over time.
Every tray is put through a rigorous quality control process, where we meticulously inspect for smoothness, durability, and engraving precision. If it doesn’t meet our highest standards, it doesn’t leave the shop.

Shop Policies
1. Shipping & Processing Times
• All items are handcrafted to order. Standard processing time is 1 week before shipping.
• Custom orders may require additional time, which will be communicated upon ordering.
• We ship via UPS/USPS with tracking and insurance included.
• Customers will receive tracking information once their order has shipped.
2. Returns & Exchanges
• Due to the handcrafted nature of our work, all sales are final.
• If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with photos of the damage so we can assist in filing a claim or arranging a replacement.
• We do not accept returns on custom or personalized pieces unless there is a defect or damage.
3. Custom Orders
• We love bringing unique visions to life! Custom furniture and decor orders are welcomed.
• A 50% non-refundable deposit may be required for custom orders over $100, with the remaining balance due before shipping.
• Design changes after purchase may affect cost and production time.
4. Cancellations
• Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund.
• After 24 hours, cancellations may not be possible as work begins on your order.
5. Care Instructions (Include in Listings Too!)
• Hand-wash only. Avoid soaking in water or placing in the dishwasher.
• Reapply food-safe oil periodically to maintain the wood’s quality (for kitchen items).
• Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight and extreme humidity changes to preserve longevity.
