About this Product
This is a digital product. No physical product will be shipped to you.
Get, or give, the gift of a beloved dog captured in digital art form. Remember a lost pet or show off your favorite fluffy mutt. When we lost my boy, Docson, to cancer it meant so much to me that my best friend got me a product with his picture on it. I want to share that with others through my art. This doesn't have to be a sad gift though, as my husband greatly enjoys the drawings I've done of our very much alive dogs. He uses them as backgrounds for his computer and phone.
Digital pet portraits are great since they give you the freedom to choose what you want to do with them. You don't have to worry about it getting damaged or lost in shipping either. Use them on your social media, print them, have them put on items, and so much more.
This pet portrait listing is for one dog portrait. It will be a bust, which includes the face and neck. Each picture is hand drawn, so the exact amount of neck or even shoulders included will differ.
Please send the best picture you have of your pet. Good lighting and a clear nonblurry image is best, but I am able to work with most pictures.
After getting your order and checking that the image is one I can use, I will start your drawing. You will get a draft image within 24 hours. You have 2 rounds of alterations if there's something you would like me to change. The final image will then be sent to you.
You can have your portrait printed at home if you have a good printer, or you can take it to a local print shop. There are also online stores that will print and mail them to you, or even put the portrait on an item, like a mug or blanket. The finished image will be high quality, so you should be able to print it at a large size without it being blurry, within reason.
One Cozy Hen

Meet the Maker
Hello. My name is Cher and I'm a leatherworker and bird rescuer. I dabble in other crafts, which may show up here and there in my shop too, but my main love is leather.
I've been doing it for over 20 years now. My father did leather crafts with kids in scouts for many years. When he passed I was gifted all of his leatherworking stuff since I was already working with leather at the time. I've used a lot of his tools to make the items in my shop. I like knowing that he used them to make people happy and now I can do the same.
I specialize in tooling and painting, so I work with mostly vegetable tanned leather. I love bringing an image to life on leather. It's a long process but the results are gorgeous, and the final product can last a lifetime. At this time I do not have a vegan leather option. I have looked into plant based faux leather for those who don't like to use animal products, but I haven't found one yet that doesn't use plastic for bonding. There is also no alternative to tooling leather at this point. In the future if I find a plastic free faux leather I will start offering vegan leather options.
My other passion in life is birds. I have many rescue birds in my care. My favorites are my crossbeak chickens. I currently have a rooster and two hens with plans to take in one more hen this year. Crossbeak chickens require hand feeding and are more fragile than normal chickens. I greatly enjoy caring for them. My goal with my shop is to be able to afford all their medical needs through my profits. If you want to know more about my birds and follow their journeys you can find me on Instagram and Facebook. I try to post daily.

How it’s Made
I use my Huion Kamvas pro13 that my husband got me as a birthday present, with my desktop computer and the program Krita. I use a digital drawing pen to draw on the tablet, and I use 3 to 10 layers per drawing.
