Long oval drop earrings in a mirror finish pewter 0.8 mm thick. Beautifully textured these earrings have a sterling silver ear wire. Lightweight and easy to wear. The earrings are 1 9/16 x1/2 inches in size. These earrings come with a rubber ear nut to prevent loss; every item sold is gift-boxed and ready to give. The wires are also sterling silver. Pewter jewelry is inexpensive compared to its finer counterparts, it looks lovely, and it can be treated to look a lot like sterling silver in its various forms–from polished to patina’d and everything in between.Pewter is one of the oldest manmade alloys in the world, dating as far back as the beginning of the Bronze Age. It’s been used by the ancient Egyptians, Romans, early Norse, and many other civilizations as well. Pewter is much slower to tarnish than sterling silver and can be cleaned with a polishing cloth

Meet the Maker
I've always been a maker, I love creating. I started making jewelry in 2000 when I decided to take a beading class with some friends. I enjoyed it so much that I took more and more courses in my spare time away from my interior design business. The more I made, the better I got, and soon I had people asking to buy the jewelry I was making. One thing we did was another, and after about a year, I left the interior design business, created a website, and started participating in art shows. I never looked back. I have been self-employed since 2002 and continue to participate in art shows to this day. During the pandemic, I decided I wanted to learn how to do metalsmithing. So I took all of my classes on YouTube and I practiced, practiced, practiced. I learned about the tools and the techniques that I'm still learning. I love working for myself and creating beautiful jewelry that people love. How it’s Made
The pewter earrings are patterned cut filed and cleaned. Then a hole is drilled in the top. The ear wires are made and attached.
