Hello and welcome to my shop!! I am so excited you came to visit.
My name is Cindy and I love to create one of a kind items. I can knit, crochet and create with tunisian stitches. When I make an item I always try to make it different. Sometimes I might add beads, cables, or use a combination of knit and crochet stitches. I have been working with yarn for over 20 years and every year I challenge myself to learn something new or do something in a different way.
In addition to yarn I am also a huge fan of gardening. It is something I have been doing with my husband since we bought our own house over two centuries ago. We have several gardens to help feed our family as well as herbs for cooking and tea. As the years went by I read about how many people use pesticides to kill off bugs that eat their garden. I refused to use any chemical and I use my environment. Lots of bird feeders to eat the insects and create a balance of nature.
In my garden I grow many things including loads of herbs. Many of them I dry using the curing method. Lavender is one of my favorite and I grow abundance of it. I use it for everything like teas, linen spray, crochet/knit lavender sachets and pillows. I also have tons of mint, lemon balm, calendula, sage, chive flowers, oregano, as well as many others.
I have a passion to create and explore, but I am also a mom. After many years of working I am able to stay at home and raise my two boys. It was my husband and my youngest son who have encourgaed me to sell my creations.
I give as much detail in everything that I make so you know everything about that item. My house is 100% smoke free. I hope you find something you like or are interested in. How it’s Made
This gorgeous lavender pillow was created in several steps. The first thing I did was sew a small pocket to hold the lavender flower buds. Every summer I harvest lavender from my property and dry all the flowers. These are the lavender flowers I stuff into my pocket. Once the pocket is full I sew the pocket closed. Next, I start to crochet a stitch that I would like to use. I add a cute border around the pillow to give it that elegant look. The pocket is 100% cotton so you can smell the lavender and the Yarn is 100% acrylic simply soft yarn. The pillow can not be machine washed due to the flowers inside but you could gently wash off anything that may get on the pillow, spot clean. I hope you enjoy this pillow as much as I enjoyed smelling and making it.

All my items are handmade and I make sure each item is created with no defects. Prior to buying anything I am selling you, you can ask me questions that you may have such as; the yarn I use, how to care for the produce, or anything else that comes to your mind. I will always tell you as much as I can about the produce so you are fully aware prior to your purchase. as for my herbs, they are all grown on my property and are hand picked and dried by me. I do not use a dehydrator for any herbs. I only use the curing method.
