About this Product

This apron is made from two vintage pillowcases that complement each other nicely. They are most likely from the 1960s-70s. There are no stains or small holes.

The apron is 19"W x 16-1/2"L, including waistband. The waistband is 2" wide. The ties are 2" W and 40" L. The apron can be tied in front or in back. Pocket is 4"W x 4-3/4"H.

Both of these pillowcases were owned by an incredibly sweet lady, who was a long-time resident of a nearby town. She lived to be 102! I know she'd be tickled pink with how I repurposed her linens.

Meet the Maker

Hello! Welcome to my shop! My mom taught me to sew in the early 80's. I made a lot of my clothes back then. By the mid-90s, I realized I had a love of vintage and antique things. I found ways to use repurpose the "junk" as decor. In 2019, I started buying and reselling vintage finds and hand painted furniture. In July of 2024, I made a hard right turn and started collecting cutter quilts, old grain and feed sacks and other vintage material, then hauled out the sewing machine and went to work. I am a repurposer at heart. I love turning what is no longer serviceable as it is, into something pretty and useful.

I live in rural SE Ohio, part of the Appalachians. I love living almost in the middle of nowhere and being able to say, "I have to run to town". I enjoy hitting flea markets and estate sales with my husband, spending time in the garden and behind the camera, and hanging with my fur kids.
