Set the family table with your own pine needle cracker basket. The 8" x 2.5" oak stained wood center is the perfect size for crackers, or coil wider to make a bread or rolls basket.
KIT INCLUDES:
✔ 8" x 2.5" Cracker Basket Base, sanded, stained & sealed. Holes drilled.
CHOOSE: Wheat Laser Engraved or Plain (No Engraving)
✔ 3 oz natural Florida pine needles
✔ Mahogany Waxed Thread, 2 oz Spool
✔ Copper Coiling Gauges, 1/4" and 3/8" diam. (see 2nd photo)
✔ Cake of 100% Pure Beeswax

Meet the Maker
Hello from Florida. I'm Barb Nelson, owner/operator of Pine Needle Basket Supplies, aka Artgal's Studio. You may have seen me on Etsy or Facebook.
A Florida resident since 1974, I attended the Art Institute of Ft Lauderdale and hold degrees in Advertising Design and Fashion Illustration. I spent most of my career as Senior Art Director for the S.E. Regional Division of Belk Dept Stores where I designed and produced catalogs and directed photo shoots. Later, I worked as Creative Director for a national outdoor advertising company.
In recent years I discovered pine needle basketry. I now enjoy teaching others at venues throughout the southeast.
In 2007 I began selling dyed and natural Florida long leaf pine needles online and at craft shows. This naturally evolved into making other supplies and accessories for basketry and gourd art.
