The inside holds a narrow seed cavity with generous thick flesh-covered walls. The meat inside is not stringy, making it a great candidate for canning, purees, pies, main entrees, and festive side dishes. The flavor is best described as earthy, sweet, extremely fragrant, and more concentrated than more common varieties.
