Pinot Noir Sunflower seeds:
These deep red/burgundy blooms will get the attention of your pollinators. This single stem beauty has a bloom that can reach upwards of 6" across. These are great for shorter growing seasons as they are early bloomers and fast growers. These can reach up to 7 feet tall and you can expect blooms in a mere 50 days.
These can be grown in containers, just make sure the container is big enough to accommodate the root ball of your sunflower, around 3 gallons would be a good starting point.
When your sunflowers start to near their end, you can keep the dried stem as a natural climbing pole for morning glories, beans, etc. It's a great way to repurpose your pot and stem.
