Sometimes things don't go exactly as planned and we have to find the silver lining. The oven temp was a little high which caused the pen barrel to melt slightly. Even though it's no longer usable as a pen, this cute little gnome will add some fun and personality to your favorite plant.

Hi! I'm Jen. Originally from Northern California, I recently moved to Minnesota. My regular full-time job is as an Activities Assistant at one of our local Assisted Living Facilities. In the evenings, I enjoy playing with polymer clay and creating my little gnomes. It's a great way to wind down after a long day.
How it’s Made
The pen barrel is covered in dark teal polymer clay and then a fun gnome head is sculpted on top with a peach hat. There is a silver half-moon dangle to complete the look. After baking, the planter stake has been coated with satin glaze to protect it.
