Great deep colors
The top band is a heavy white cotton with bold fun and colorful stripes ~ I added a blue, purple, teal, maroon cotton fabric that is top stitched along the squares, and then pleated to fit the band ~ The handles are the same as the band and connected with metal rings ~ There is a flap made from the plaid fabric and strung thru an odd shaped belt buckle in a silvertone metal ~ The lining is a natural color heavy cotton ~ There are 3 large inside pockets made from the plaid fabric

Meet the Maker
I am a mom of 2 and Grandma to 3 precocious little ones! I have crafted my entire life (Thanks, MOM!) and worked the last 16 years in a Tailoring Shop. Now that I am retired, it is time to share my stash of "creations". I sew, knit, crochet and embroider mostly, although I have dabbled in painting some wood crafts and am attempting some jewelry creations. I am an active "scavenger" for vintage fabric, trims, buttons, beads, buckles, baubles and other odd items to use in my creations. Because of this, I rarely make the same item twice the same way. I feel this ensures a type of personalization for each unique customer!
