Meet the Maker
My inspiration stems from the beauty found in nature, with an emphasis on birds and botanicals. I gravitate towards vibrant colors as I create stylized and whimsical paintings with a variety of mediums including acrylics, watercolors and gouache. How it’s Made
Hands down, poppies are my favorites flowers! I especially love the bright orange varieties. The original version of this cheerful poppy painting was created with watercolors on textured paper. The painting was scanned and printed on high quality 100% cotton rag paper at the local printer in Denver.
