About this Product
This set consists of a two potholders with similar fabrics but different designs to spice it up!
The first hot pad is a nine patch, with fabric including: black polka dots on a red background, white pin dots on black, black and white check, and of course adorable Dalmatian puppies with hearts on a background of red. The backing is a solid piece of the black and white check and the quilting is geometric in style. Sandwiched between the top and bottom are multiple layers of cotton batting for insulation. The binding is held in place with a fun zigzag stitch. The second hot pad has all of the same fabrics of the first in a five pieced design. The backing and binding is a solid piece of white polka dots on red. Sandwiched between the top and bottom are multiple layers of cotton batting for insulation. We used free motion quilting to add a fun and carefree look. Both potholders are quilted with white thread.
*These potholders DO NOT come with loops for hanging. Some people like to stack them in certain places or a basket for keeping; we have found that they store very well in the small cabinet drawers found near the stove.
Care Instructions: For the wonderful look and feel of a quilt, and for ease, wash and dry by machine. If you prefer to keep the potholders looking flat and crisp, hand-wash and lay flat to air dry. Iron if desired. These are very durable potholders made to stand up to hard and repeated use. These would make great Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Birthday, Housewarming or Hostess Gifts! Also great for dog lovers and Dalmatian aficionados.

Meet the Maker
Hello, and welcome to Yankee Doodle Darlings! We are a family of sisters that enjoy creating all types of things. Sewing, art, design, and anything that strikes our fancy! We grew up watching our mom sew and create items to decorate our house, and I guess you could say we caught the creative bug! It started out when we were little, making more dresses for our paper dolls (they never had enough!), and over the years it has landed us here.
How it’s Made
These adorable pieced and quilted potholders are approximately 8 1/2"x 8 1/2" and made with 100% cotton fabric and multiple layers of cotton batting for insulation against heat. One of the potholders is quilted using free motion quilting, while the other is quilted in a more geometric pattern. Both potholders are quilted with white thread. We use the self-binding method, also known as a fold-over-binding, for our potholders.
**We do NOT use polyester batting with mylar in our pot holders. We have personally found that multiple layers of true cotton batting provide far superior insulation and protection against hot pans and heat rather than pot holders that are made with polyester batting with mylar. This is based off of years of testing in our personal kitchen.

We do not do exchanges. For clothing, if you realize the size you ordered is too small or too big, we suggest returning the item for a refund and reordering in the correct size.
