ITEM DESCRIPTION
Extra-thick potholders featuring chocolate-dipped strawberries on black. These two quilted potholders can also be used as hot pads or trivets. Whether you are a gourmet home chef or prefer frozen dinners, these are a kitchen must-have.
Each potholder measures approximately 9 inches x 9 inches and is almost 1/2 inch thick. I use 100% cotton batting, insulating fabric, and 100% cotton quilting fabric. The insulating fabric reflects hot (or cold) back to the source to help prevent burns or damage to surfaces.

MATERIAL
100% High-quality cotton quilting fabric, cotton batting, insulating fabric, and thread.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Machine wash with warm water. Tumble dry on low to medium. Do not use bleach or detergents containing bleach. While 100% cotton has the potential to shrink during the wash, we try to minimize this by prewashing all fabrics before construction.

Hello, my name is Sandy, and I have two passions: art and animals.
I have been creating ever since I can remember. I adore all sorts of arts and crafts using a multitude of mediums. While I enjoy a variety of handicrafts, I currently work a lot with fabric, making useful and whimsical items to add fun and function to our daily lives.
My love for animals resulted in my volunteer efforts in animal rescue more than 15 years ago. One of the hazards of animal rescue is taking on hard-case animals that may not be eligible for adoption due to health or behavioral issues. I discovered I prefer those needing special care to healthy, easily adoptable animals. However, special needs often never leave your home, so I've turned my love of creating into a business to care for these animals.

At Embark In Art, satisfaction with your purchase is critical. If you are unhappy for any reason, we want to know. All items are handmade and represented in our shop photos and descriptions to the best of our ability. If something is unclear, please get in touch with us.
Returns and Exchanges
If, for some reason, you need to return your item, please get in touch with us within 3 days of receipt to make a return/refund arrangement. Items can be returned within 7 days of receipt. Items must be packaged securely with tracking information to ensure a safe return. The product's full price minus any discounts and shipping fees will be refunded if the item comes with original packaging, has not been altered, or shows signs of wear. The buyer pays for return shipping expenses.
Shipping
We ship anywhere within the United States using the United States Postal Service (USPS) with either First Class or Ground Advantage and tracking information. If you want expedited shipping or your package insured, please get in touch with us to make the necessary arrangements.
We ship within 3-5 business days of receiving your payment.
We can not be held responsible for USPS carrier damages, any delays due to weather, or misrouted packages. We are also not responsible for lost or stolen packages from your residence. Please ensure the address you provide as your shipping address is secure for delivery. Once the package is in the hands of the postal service, it becomes their responsibility.
If your shipment is taking too long, you can ask your local USPS office to start a search. Sometimes, the package gets misrouted, taking a few days longer than predicted.
