This is a texture painting. I built up many layers of texture with acrylic paste and paint then covered it with oil paint and pastel to give the painting a rough textured appearance. The colors are vibrant and will bring the warmth of the desert to any interior.

Meet the Maker
Candace Byington is an artist from Northwestern Ohio. She studied drawing, printmaking and painting at Bowling Green State University. Her art can be found on Etsy and Redbubble and at local art shows.
How it’s Made
Original painting on stretched canvas. Layers of acrylic paint were applied to the canvas. Then additional layers of oil pastel and oil paint were applied. The result is highly textured painting in vibrant colors.

Returns Sometimes, art does not fit with your decor or life as expected. This is understandable. You have within 14 days to return the item. A refund will be offered once the art has been received, provided that you follow these conditions:
