About this Product
Measuring approx. 7.5"W X 9.5"T (+/- 1/2"), this sweet honeybee pillow-NOT a cover but the WHOLE PILLOW- is sure to please-of course it is, as the perfect transition from summer into fall! Not only does it have loads of personality, but it also features cheerful bunches of handcrafted extras, made just for YOU (or someone special and dear to your heart) by ME. The bee is a Vintage Muse By Barb original design, fashioned from yellow and black striped fabric that I overdyed to irresistibly primitive mustard and black for the body, with 1800's antique black calico for his head, and rustic loose weave grain sack fabric for his wings. All of the layers have been appliqued to the remainder of a1930's quilt in shades of yellow and gold leftover from Easter chicks I made many years ago. There is a polymer clay sunflower with a black glass bead sewn on the wing, also created by yours truly. A bow of jute twine and hand painted beads finish the wings. I've added a hand stamped muslin "honey" tag to the bottom left of the pillow, and fussy cut some bee memorabilia which I fastened to the top right with a bulb pin. I added some layers of 100% cotton batting and backed the pillow with more of the grain sack fabric, then created a patch with additional black calico that matches bee's head. A heart made from a vintage mustard colored 100% wool blanket decorated with a wooden button that I hand painted in black finishes the richly embellished extra special project. This pillow will be adorable on a child's chair with a bee skep and a bow on your covered porch. In a basket filled with jars of preserves and....HONEY!!!! In a big ol' crock with hand towels draped over the edge. If you need more ideas, just ask. If you have more ideas, I'd love to see pics showing how you display yours. Why not grab a couple-one to give, and one to keep-I won't tell.
All of my items are available across multiple platforms and are sold first come, first served. Please consider that these are created from ANTIQUE/Vintage materials, so I cannot just order more fabric from the quilt shop or a catalog-when the amount I have on hand runs out, it is GONE! If you love this item, best to make your purchase when you see it to avoid disappointment!
Fabric/quilts/trimmings with an indication of "vintage" or "antique" are NOT new; therefore, they may have wear, uneven color, small holes, and other age-appropriate imperfections. I make every effort to use the best parts of any fabrics, but they are seldom pristine.All of my fabric items are sewn completely around and a slot is cut into the backing piece, which is NEW fabric, for turning and stuffing. When you see a hand stitched seam on the back, it is deliberate, not a flaw. By creating my pieces this way, I can achieve better more accurate shapes than I would by hand sewing shut a curve or corner. ~B~

Shop Policies
Returns and exchanges
We accept returns for 14 days for exchange or refund.
Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and any loss in value if an item isn't returned in original condition and in original packaging.
Custom and personalized orders
I am currently unable to accept custom orders.

Sizes are listed in item description and are approximate (as accurately as I am able to measure them).
Gift wrapping and packaging

Wholesale availability
We are not able to accept wholesale orders.
Shipping
We currently only ship to the United States.
I am NOT responsible for damages/theft etc. to uninsured packages regardless of reason. If your order is above the amount covered by the USPS,
we will automatically add the additional insurance required at the BUYER'S expense so that we are both protected in case of loss. I ship EVERY item with tracking,
and will message you the tracking number once your order ships. If a package seems "lost" I will be happy to assist you in locating it, but the USPS requires a 30-day wait
before an insurance claim can be filed (if your package is insured).
Customer is responsible for providing correct shipping address. I will only ship to the address you provide on your order.
Can We Hold Orders to Ship at a Later Date?
No. We ship our items quickly and cannot be responsible for keeping track of orders beyond the date on the original invoice.
We have thousands of items plus supplies to monitor and would feel terrible if something got lost in the shuffle.
