A primitive mini pillow that has been stained and stitched to look very old and worn. This little bowl filler has a flag and crow embroidered on it, and the word prim on the tag in the crow's mouth. The pillow is made of muslin fabric and the back of the pillow is red and beige. It is a cute little piece of Americana that can be tucked into any space, great or small. It has been stiffened with mod podge to add a little extra oldness to the pillow.

Hi there, and welcome to my shop. Here you will find mini pillows galore! Each one is created individually with my own style for many vintage-inspired occasions and settings. They are imperfectly stained and stitched to look worn and tattered and would make a charming addition to your home decor or they would be a great gift idea for a loved one.
How it’s Made
I create one-of-a-kind pillows that are made to order. I start by choosing a design and after it is stitched, I choose a piece of cotton or denim fabric for the back. I stitch the two pieces together with a sewing machine, then stain them and add color to the design using a watercolor effect. To give the pillow an aged look, I scrub it to make worn places, then roughly stitch it to close up the big spaces. I then stuff the pillow and stitch it closed. Finally, I coat it with stiffener and then. I place it in the sun to dry in the summertime, or over a heating vent in the wintertime. Each pillow has its own unique style because they each turn out differently.
