A primitive fabric pillow tuck that has been stained and stitched to look vintage and used. It features a prim crow and stars that has been tinted with paint. Stiffener has been added to the surface to prevent shedding of spices. Meet the Maker
Hi, I'm Beth, and I like to create. I live in a very rural community in SW Virginia with my husband and two dogs. I have two grandchildren and I play the piano at church. My favorite crafting mediums are crochet and painting, along with some sewing.
How it’s Made
Each pillow is created individually. The design is hand embroidered on the front and then it is stitched to a coordinating fabric for the back. After stuffing it and stitching it closed, I stain and paint it and then add stiffener as the last step to help keep the spices from shedding.
