A beautiful choice for a natural, grainy, look and feel, prints on wood are sturdy, rustic, and ready to hang.
PRINTS ON WOOD
Light
weight but durable, with a soft, "natural" feel, Prints on
Wood offer a new way to look at photographs.
On a wood print the photo is printed directly on to 1/2" thick piece of maple. The grain of the wood shows through the lighter areas, giving the photograph a warm, rustic, slightly vintage feel.
Or, if you prefer, a bottom coat of white can be added underneath the print to reduce the grain and make the colors pop. Either way, each print is unique. No two prints are alike as they will take on the characteristics of the wood beneath them.
There is no need to frame wood prints. They will come with a float mount and be ready to hang
Ordering is easy! Simply choose your size, tell me your image and answer the two questions. (Border or Full Fame & Natural or White)
**Please note, not all images are able to print at 16x22, if that is the size you are interested in, please check with me before ordering.

Meet the Maker
Hello, My name is Katharine Emlen and I welcome you to my shop. I am a photographer and writer living in Knoxville, Tennessee. I love finding patterns in nature and beauty in the disheveled. I also love closing things off to remove context and make one wonder! Knoxville is a great place to be as an artist for the town is quaint, picturesque, and full of personality and charm. Very photogenic indeed!
I am also the artist behind The Poetry of Nature, as series of work that pairs macro photography with poetry. That work is featured in its own shop as it is distinct and complete as a body of work.

How it’s Made
PRINTS ON WOOD
Prints on wood can be really snazzy! Especially if you like a farmhouse boutique feel. If you choose "Natural" you will see the grain of the wood underneath the image, which adds a nice unique personality as every piece of wood is different. You can also opt for a white underlay which will remove the grain and make the colors pop.
Please allow up to two weeks to receive your wood print. These are made to order and must ship with care. Thank you!

PROCESSING TIME
All of my photographs are printed to order using a professional photo lab. Because of this it can take up to 5 days of processing time before I can ship to you. So please allow 7-10 days from when you order until you receive your photo.
Greeting cards and postcards will be shipped right away. :)
RETURNS
If you are unhappy with your image I am happy to offer a refund once the photograph has been returned. I am also happy to exchange it for a different one of the same size, once the original has been returned. Returns and exchanges are accepted up to two weeks from receipt of order.
INTERNTIONAL
I do not yet offer Digital Downloads, but I am more than happy to work with you on the most economical way to get you your print.
