Meet the Maker

Greetings from Tracy 'n Justin, the people behind Keepsake Maps. Since 1993 we have been married and have been working together as cartographers (AKA map makers). In 2000 we decided to strike out on our own and we started our own custom mapping company called "The M Factory, Inc". We primarily worked for publishers, non-profits, travel companies, etc. Enter the smart phone and the world of mapping changed quite a bit and we learned quickly that we needed to change too. Welcome online market places. We started on Etsy in 2014 and now here we are on goimagine and we are so excited to be a part of this community!

We love creating maps and we love kids. A perk of having our own gig for the past 24 years is that we've been able to be around for our 2 boys who are now 20 and 17! This market place lets us continue to create our maps and as a bonus, we are helping children and who doesn't think that's amazing?!

Shop Policies

Welcome to Keepsake Maps (KSM) on goimagine.com. The following are our shop’s Terms & Conditions (T&Cs). If you purchase an item from our shop you indicate your acceptance of these T&Cs so please read carefully.

Proofs

For every order placed in our shop, we send a proof via a message in goimagine.com or in email. Typically this will happen 1-2 business days after we have received your order. We require approval from you before we print and ship your order. It is very important to make sure that the email that is associated with your goimagine account is correct because it’s the only way we will be able to reach you.

Please note that due to the detailed nature of our products, we require that all order details be provided in writing. This ensures that both the customer and us are on the same page when your order is created.

Return/Refunds

CANCELLATION OF YOUR ORDER

Cancellation requests received PRIOR to proof creation will be granted and fully refunded, however once a proof has been sent to you (typically the day after your order has been placed), no refunds will be issued. All of our prints are made by a human (using a computer) and it takes time to create them. What you pay is 95% expended to make your first proof. Please consider your purchase carefully before ordering and pay close attention to the item description. We will do our best to work with you to create the item that you envision.

RETURNS

Items are packaged with a minimum of two protective layers in the hope that you receive a mint condition item. We are not responsible for the damage or loss of items once they’ve left our shop. With that said, depending on what shipping service was used (detailed description of those services outlined below), you may be able to receive a refund on the shipping money paid if your package has been damaged or lost during shipping.

In order for us to reprint and replace a damaged item, we require photographic evidence of the damage within 1 week of your receipt of the item. Typically there will be a fee associated with the re-print and shipment of the replacement - enough to cover the shipping and handling. We will discuss this with you after we receive your notification.

Offered on all items in our shop. Delivery service will be USPS Ground Advantage as explained below.

WHEN WILL MY ITEM SHIP


For all orders a digital proof will be generated and sent to the customer as explained in the “Proofs” section above. The ship day of your order is dependent on when we receive approval from you. If we receive approval from you prior to 8AM EST Monday–Friday we almost always print and ship that same day (wrapped canvas items take one additional day for the glue to cure). If we receive an approval after 9AM EST Monday–Friday your print will likely ship the following business day. In order to avoid delays please keep open communication with us once you’ve placed your order and make sure that you email address associated with your goimagine account is correct.

SHIPPING METHODS OFFERED

USPS Ground Advantage - Ground Advantage packages are delivered in 2-5 business days and tracking service is included. *Alaska, Hawaii, and offshore destinations may receive slower service.

USPS Priority Mail - Priority Mail service includes tracking and delivery in 1-3 business days based on origin, destination, and drop-off time. Go to https://www.usps.com/priority-mail/map/ to see a map of delivery times – make sure to put 21014 into the origin zip code. The expected delivery date does not come with a money-back guarantee – if your package arrives late there is no recourse for you or us. *Alaska, Hawaii, and offshore destinations may receive slower service.

USPS 1-2 Day Priority Mail Express - Priority Mail Express service provides next-day to 2–day delivery service by 6 PM with a money–back guarantee. *As of August 1, 2023, USPS will no longer process refund requests for guaranteed service on items shipped to Alaska or Hawaii. Refund requests for loss will still be processed.

Privacy

Your privacy on the Internet is of the utmost importance to us.

In addition to the information that goimagine.com collects (covered in goimagine’s T&Cs), we also collect information from you when an order is placed. We use this information to customize your order, print a packing slip and create your shipping label.

As a seller on goimagine.com, we do not collect, process, or store any credit card information.

Additional Policies

You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise possess all necessary rights with respect to the User Provided Content (text and photos).

All maps, illustrations, and designs are the sole and exclusive property of Keepsake Maps. Copyright of the artwork does not transfer with the sale of any item.

Our normal shop hours are Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm EST.
