About this Product
This is a checkbook cover with a hand tooled elk scene on it. There is an elk calf on one side with your initials. The other side has a bull elk and a cow elk on it. I custom make these, so if you look at some of my checkbook covers, there are other patterns you could ask for on the cover. When you contact me just ask. This was dyed with an acorn brown dye. This was laced up with leather. Just remember, the darker the dye you put on these, the less prominent the pictures seem to be. Also, if it's a gift, the time to make it is longer than if it's an item I have in stock. This one is custom made and shipping time is listed and can vary. Please remember that these are all hand tooled and it does take awhile to get them done. Approx. measurement open 7 1/2 x 6 15/16 closed 6 15/16 x 3 5/8.

Meet the Maker
I am a 70 yr. old cowboy. I started working with leather when I was 13 yrs old until I went into the military. After that I worked in feedlots, worked on ranches and trained and showed horses and in that line of work there was always leather to be repaired or things to be made. I always enjoyed working with leather so I decided to open shop and do it full time. I enjoy doing custom work so if you have an idea of what you want or you see something I've made that you like, please feel free to contact me.
