Kookie's Kreations
Meet the Maker
As I'm a linear thinker with flashes of creativity, my craftiness expresses itself in many ways: graphic design, sewing, crochet, knitting, macrame, jewelry making, floral arranging, sublimation, heat transfer vinyl, and, most recently, working with epoxy resin and silicone molds. I love what I do!
The idea for Kookie's Kreations arose from my love of making things with my own hands, along with the fact that I bore easily, making it impossible to tie myself to one type of crafting. Repeatedly family members would see something I'd made and say, "Oh, Nancy! You could sell that!" Eventually I took their advice, setting up my Etsy store.
The trouble I had was deciding exactly what I could or should try to sell since I love so many different kinds of creative endeavors. After more encouragement from family and friends, I decided to offer items made in all of my craft mediums. I've been sewing and crocheting doll costumes since 2011, mostly from my own designs. Drawing on over 45 years of experience, I've been crocheting and knitting clothes for dolls, babies, kids and adults, again largely from my own designs. Most recently I invested in the equipment necessary to produce my own designs for sublimation or vinyl on a variety of products.
Having set up my shop and posted some of the items I wanted to sell, I now find there doesn't seem to be enough time to create and keep my shop updated at the same time. Somehow I need to set up a schedule for accomplishing both... oh, I just got an idea for a new design! Sorry. I have to get busy developing a new design.
In the meantime, check out these kind words sent by private messaging from a few of my customers:
Jeanette ~ "Good morning! I just wanted to follow up and let you know how much my husband absolutely loves his mug. He searches the drainboard every morning to use it instead of going to the cabinet for another. Thank you for doing what you do!!!!"
Tessa ~ "I really appreciate how hard you worked to get me my purchase. Merry Christmas!"
Angelia ~ "Hello! Thanks for the note. I'm super excited to receive this carton. It's part of a beautiful French toast recipe basket that I'm putting together as a gift for someone. They are going to love that egg carton!"
Sher ~ "It arrived perfectly intact and we love it. Thank you for the quality product. have an awesome day!"
