About this Product

Introducing a mesmerizing work of art, the Hand Blown Glass Art Frit Implosion Pendant in my unique Radial Frit Implosion Design. Crafted with utmost care and precision, this pendant showcases the intricate beauty of hand-blown glass. Each piece boasts a stunning frit implosion technique, where vibrant colors blend seamlessly together, creating a mesmerizing visual effect. The radial pattern adds depth and dimension to the design, making this pendant a truly one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Adorn yourself with this wearable art and experience the joy of owning a handcrafted treasure.

I take pride in ensuring that each piece is made to perfection, using a digitally controlled environment to anneal the glass right from the flame to the kiln. The kiln is slowly ramped down overnight, guaranteeing a well-made, durable piece that you'll treasure for years to come.

The pendant comes with a choice of an 18', 20”, or 24" silver-plated chain or Greek leather cord with a sterling silver lobster claw clasp for an additional $8. I make each leather cord to order. Just let me know if you want a different length than indicated in the listing.

The boro pendant measures 1.25" x 1.75"

Surprise your loved ones or treat yourself with a unique, handmade gift that comes beautifully packaged in a gift box ready for gift giving. You can choose the silver plated chain at no extra cost or opt for a pop of color with a leather cord. Elevate your fashion statement with my exquisite frit pendants today!

Please note all my lampwork is uniquely handmade Slight variations in color may occur due to different lighting and display settings. I try to photograph each piece in indoor and outdoor lighting. But the piece you see in the pictures IS the piece YOU are receiving!

Meet the Maker

Welcome to my modern handmade jewelry studio, where I immerse myself in the art of crafting exquisite hand-blown glass jewelry through the technique of lampworking. I utilize a specialized blowtorch fueled by a mixture of oxygen and propane, generating temperatures beyond 2500°F. Every piece I create is a testament to my dedication, meticulously shaped and designed by my own hands.

My passion finds its true expression in the creation of unique glass pendants and earrings inspired by the boundless beauty of the ocean. Living by the sea, I am continually captivated by its allure. From the graceful turtles to the ethereal jellyfish pendants, each piece captures the essence of the sea, transforming into wearable works of art.

Yet, there's another captivating theme that ignites my creativity: the human eye. With precision and care, I pull Murrine to craft the intricate irises featured in my eye pendants. These are often referred to as Evil Eye Pendants, believed to bring protection and good luck by warding off negative energy. I enjoy the process of blending different colors, particularly with silver within the glass, resulting in a mesmerizing reflective effect.

My artistic journey also leads to the creation of stunning implosion pendants. Each of these pieces is meticulously crafted using only the finest quality Borosilicate glass and my blowtorch.  I take immense pride in the depth and intricacy of these pendants, each one reminiscent of delicate lotus blossoms, succulents, or anemones painstakingly captured in glass.

Most of the borosilicate glass techniques are done "off mandrel" with glass rods and tubing, a process that never ceases to fascinate me. Watching the glass shift from a solid, cold form into a molten liquid state, only to revert as it cools into unique, wearable art, exemplifies the mesmerizing transformation that takes place within my studio. This is the essence of my art - a harmonious blend of ancient techniques and contemporary creativity.

How it’s Made

I meticulously craft every pendant and earring in my collection using lampwork techniques, borosilicate glass, and a specially designed blow torch. Each piece undergoes a meticulous creation process, with careful attention to detail. After shaping, I place them in a precisely controlled kiln overnight to gradually cool, ensuring their quality. I work with borosilicate glass, melting rods in the torch to create stunning off-mandrel pendants and earrings. These pieces feature a captivating, ethereal sparkle, achieved by blending various colors infused with silver and other elements.

Care instructions:

How should I clean my sterling silver jewelry I purchased from you?
The silver should be polished using a treated silver polishing cloth. There are many brands of silver polishing cloths and they work wonders on tarnish. I do not recommend dipping solutions. You will be repolishing every week once you start using them.
