This gorgeous handblown glass ornament truly comes along once in a Blue Moon! Cobalt blue glass globe with rich colors of turquoise, blues, greens and purples in iridescent ribbons, fumed over with real silver. The ornament has a different intricate pattern on each side so it's like getting two ornaments! The ornament exudes a beautiful cobalt blue when sun is shining directly through it. This ornament is approximately 2.5" in diameter with a glass loop for easy hanging. Please note that all of our glass items are hand-crafted; as such, each piece may vary slightly in size, shape, color, and pattern, which adds to its beauty and uniqueness. Ornaments may have fumed silver to a varying degree and are usually different from one another as the fuming process is difficult to control and duplicate exactly. No two pieces are exactly alike. Our ornaments look beautiful not only on your Christmas tree, but all year round in a sunny window, in your garden, etc. All of our pieces are hand-crafted using lampworking/glassblowing techniques. Children and adults alike will appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship of our keepsakes. This is a holiday ornament, not a memorial ornament. Why is there a tiny hole in my ornament? All blown out (hollow) glass ornaments inherently have a small hole - otherwise, a vacuum seal would occur when the glass cools down and the ornament would collapse. We try to place the tiny hole in a discreet place.

Meet the Maker
Jason Thiemann is a second-generation professional artistic glassblower. He was born in Union City, California and currently resides in Stanwood, Washington, with his fiancé, Stephanie, and two Giant Schnauzers, Luna & Stella.
Jason’s artistic process began as a young child, when at age 10 he started learning the fundamentals of glassblowing from both his parents. His full-time career started at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas as a demonstration artist glassblower, where he was afforded the opportunity to work aside many world-renowned glassblowers, which gave him a broad perspective of techniques.
Since then, Jason has branched out on his own and has built his business with Stephanie by innovating and creating unique pieces of glass art, sculptures, chandeliers, wine glasses and stoppers, holiday ornaments, sun catchers, and sculptures. Since 2017, he's expanded to specialize in glass art memorials.
