About this Product
These GIANT 3.5" diameter round ornaments are reminiscent of a galaxy! They are the largest ones we have and are quite heavy (almost 1 pound each). They can be hung in a sunny window or in the garden for year-round enjoyment. Please note that all of our glass items are hand-crafted; as such, each piece may vary slightly in size, shape, and pattern, which adds to its beauty and uniqueness. Made from thick & heavy borosilicate glass that is very resistant to breakage. No two pieces are exactly alike. Children and adults alike will appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship of our keepsakes. All of our pieces are hand-crafted using lampworking/glassblowing techniques and utilizing the highest quality lab-grade borosilicate (aka Corning/Pyrex) glass, then kiln fired and annealed overnight for added strength and durability. 3.5" Glass Ornament "Galaxy", Holiday Decorations, Friendship Ball, Christmas Gifts for Her, Garden Decorations, Yard Art, Garden Ornaments

Starry Night Glass Art
Meet the Maker
Jason Thiemann is a second-generation professional artistic glassblower. He was born in Union City, California and currently resides in Stanwood, Washington, with his fiancé, Stephanie, and two Giant Schnauzers, Luna & Stella.
Jason’s artistic process began as a young child, when at age 10 he started learning the fundamentals of glassblowing from both his parents. His full-time career started at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas as a demonstration artist glassblower, where he was afforded the opportunity to work aside many world-renowned glassblowers, which gave him a broad perspective of techniques.
Since then, Jason has branched out on his own and has built his business with Stephanie by innovating and creating unique pieces of glass art, sculptures, chandeliers, wine glasses and stoppers, holiday ornaments, sun catchers, and sculptures. Since 2017, he's expanded to specialize in glass art memorials.
Jason: "I have had the pleasure of doing exactly what I love to do for the past 30 years. Every piece I create for you is important to me, as it is a reflection of my hard work, years of experience and your confidence in the quality of my craft. We have built strong trust relationships with our clients, giving them healing and gentle closure in a beautiful art form."
