This is a Gallery Wrapped Canvas Print that comes ready to hang, that I paint on in my Art Studio in the Pacific Northwest. The sides of the canvas are painted copper to match the sun. This is a great way to get a one of a kind Art piece from me.
This is part of the "U are my sunshine" series, dedicated to my Mom. I gave her the first painting of this series ~ Sunrays with various shades of rays in the thoughts that my Mom has always been the most loving sunshine of light loving all and everyone with her whole heart and giving the most lovely warm hugs. She worked for the school growing up and made it a point to give kids that were feeling not ok with how they were fitting in with school, a safe space where they felt seen and loved. My hope is to spread this Mama love thru my art. I want people to look at this and know that THEY are the sunshine and they are loved.

Meet the Maker
Welcome! Nicolle Black here, I am a painter from the Pacific Northwest. My artwork showcased on this site all come from my Original Paintings using Acrylic Paint on Canvas or Paper. I have a passion for the artistic process and design. I find joy in the challenge and growth that painting brings. It encourages me to view the world in a different light and appreciate the beauty in the present moment, providing a much needed contrast to our past faced society.
Beyond Art, I enjoy being a devoted Mom, slowing down and soaking in those moments with my little one is really sweet and special. I also enjoy gardening, a good cup of coffee and playing music. I have played music since I was young, I honed my chops playing in blues, cover, and symphonic bands and music is a constant companion during my painting sessions.

How it’s Made
I have a printer make these gallery wrapped canvas prints, I picked this printer because they use green practices and make beautiful prints that work well with the paints I use. After printed from the image of my Original painting, I take the canvas into my Art Studio and paint on them. I love making quality Art and hope to convey that with every piece that goes out my door. Do you accept returns?
Please note that due to the made to order nature of my art I am unable to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.
However, -rest assured-if your artwork is damaged in transit, please contact me within 48 hours of receiving your package so I can inspect and promptly arrange a replacement.
Please note that photos showing the damaged artwork and packaging will be required to claim your replacement.
To offer complete peace of mind in these cases, I arrange a replacement free of charge.
