Carry the spirit of Puerto Rico with you in these Puerto Rico Flag studs. These earrings honor the island's legacy with two variations: Classic Flag and Black Flag.
The Black Flag represents the "pie de lucha" (foot of fight). The first Puerto Rican flag painted in black was the flag of Old San Juan. This flag was a opposition response to the Financial Oversight and Management Board (La Junta) symbolizing resistance to policies seen as oppressive or exploitative. It also symbolize a rejection of any ideology, philosophy or tradition that seeks to enslave humanity.

Meet the Maker
Hello! My name is Nelly and I'm the owner and maker of Among Strings. I'm a stay at home mom of a teenage girl and a proud military spouse. I was born and raised in the tropical paradise of Puerto Rico. I've been doing Macrame since 2020 but wasn't until 2023 that I decided to open my shop so I could be able to take my work wherever the military send us while also doing something that I love. I specialized in nature designs but I'm always open to explore more ideas. I'm passionate about creating fun and beautiful pieces that will bring joy to your heart and a garden to your ears!

How it’s Made
All of my resin earrings are crafted with care and precision. I hand-pour high-quality resin, adding unique elements like pigments, alcohol inks or/and real dried flowers to create a one-of-a-kind design. Once cured and polish the pieces are assembled with hypoallergenic findings like gold plated Stainless Steel or brass for lasting comfort.

What if the shipping address listed on my order is incorrect?
If you place an order with an incorrect shipping address, you can message me to correct it, only if the order has not already been shipped. If an order has already been shipped and does not arrive due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address on the order, unfortunately I will not be able to offer a refund as it is the buyer's responsibility to provide a correct shipping address.
What if an order gets lost in the mail or does not arrive?
If the shipping address on the order is correct and it hasn't been delivered to the provided shipping address, message me to let me know. You should contact USPS and file a dispute which may take up to 7 business days. If the carrier confirms the package is lost I can either issue a partial refund or re-send a new one. However, if I re-confirm the shipping address with you and I have shipped you a replacement item and it still does not arrive, you will no longer be eligible for a refund.
I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages if your tracking number says delivered, I recommend checking with neighbors or building management to see if it was mistakenly taken in or filing a police report for stolen packages. I can assist by providing necessary order and shipping details.
What if my order is returned to sender?
If I receive your order back as "Return to Sender" and I have received the item(s) back, I will contact you to re-send your order, or issue a refund for the price of the item only. If you would like your item re-shipped after it has "RTS", you will need to pay for the shipping cost to re-send it.
However, If I re-confirmed the shipping address with you and re-ship it and it still does not arrive, you will no longer be eligible for a refund.
How long will it take to receive my order?
My processing times varies depending on the amount of orders and amount of items in each order, usually my processing times are from 2 to 4 days, please take these into consideration when placing your order. I cannot guarantee an order will arrive by a requested date. My processing times are the time it takes me to hand make, package, and ship your order with care and attention to detail. Orders are made and shipped in the order they are placed. Processing time does NOT include the time it will take for USPS to deliver the item(s). I am not responsible for any delay or failure to perform due to causes beyond my reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or government restrictions.
Do you accept exchanges, returns & cancelations?
Do to the nature of the my products and for hygiene safety, I do not accept returns. Exchanges are not accepted.
Cancelations are accepted within 2 hours of purchase.
Do you accept custom orders/designs?
Most of my designs are color customizable. If you'd like to change the colors of any of the products available on my shop, please write me a message to see if the requested colors are available. For any custom designs please send me a message.
Can I get a refund for custom orders?
Custom orders can be re-shipped, but unfortunately I cannot offer refunds on custom orders because I am not able to re-sell/re-use the item(s).
Do you offer gift wrapping?
I do not offer gift packaging but i can include a gift note to the recipient, just send me a message or write your Note on the note section of your order.
