Backing is 100% cotton fabric
Fabric plant dyed (by me) with avocado pits and skins (resulting color is a soft pink similar to the detail yarn on the front)

Meet the Maker
Hi, I’m Megan and things are a little quacky here!
Ducks Never Waver started when I was going through severe health issues and one day I saw some ducks swimming in frigid water, doing their thing, just excited to be ducks. I decided I wanted that, maybe not to be a literal duck, but to be creative and have a beauty filled life! I’ve been doing fiber arts since I was 9 and I am still so excited about creating one of a kind pieces! Always keeping comfort and ease in mind, I’ll throw in a nod to ancient crafts, bold color combos, or an eclectic use of materials that make you go “mmmhhmm that’s a bit quacky!”
My hope for my products is that they express the beauty that God has created and show the healing quality of art for the maker and you!

How it’s Made
Crochet pillow front, stem, and leaf/vine using reclaimed yarn. Sewn onto a back of cotton fabric that has been plant dyed with avocado pits and skins. Stuffed with scraps of yarn and poly-fil.
