Anhydrite is a mineral composed of calcium sulfate. This mineral is formed when the water is evaporated from the mineral Gypsum. It is a 3.5-4 on the Mohs Hardness scale, meaning it is a relatively soft stone.
Due to its formation through evaporation, Anhydrite mineral is associated with shedding emotional trauma and spiritually unhealthy patterns. With its development taking place in the Lithosphere, this mineral is known for offering a sense of groundedness and stability. Its pale color offers a sense of soothing calmness and peace.
Care:
Due to its dehydrative state, it is important this piece of jewelry not have extended exposure to water. To clean, wipe with a damp cloth. Store in a separate bag from other peices to avoid scratching related to its low Mohs rating.

For me, it has been through semi-precious stone jewelry. Not only is it a beautiful and impressively ancient treasure made by the Earth, but it has also impacted human lives ever since we first started to wander the Earth's surface.
I make semi-precious stone jewelry by hand. Each piece is made while focusing on the intentions and energy held by the stone or mineral. I make single bracelets, bracelet sets, soldered necklace pendants, earrings, and wire-wrapped jewelry.
