This attractive heirloom is a generous and heavy producer. You will have more than enough bell peppers! These are great for freezing as well! Purple Beauty is an old-time heirloom that is incredibly easy to grow. The flavor has been described as mild, but sweet. These lend themselves well to kabobs, salads, or stuffed with delicious quinoa or chicken salad.
These are open-pollinated and will thrive in containers or a raised bed. Depending on factors (soil, location, fertilizers, etc) these will range from a bright purple to a dark plum color. Purple Beauty is a 0 on the Scoville scale, so if you don't prefer spice, this is a great option for you.
