Purple Haze is an immersive abstract piece that captivates with its vivid interplay of colors. Dominated by purples, pinks, and whites, the artwork features a textured pattern that forms a dynamic mosaic. The composition is created with Alcohol Inks applied to a ceramic tile and set permanently into the top of this beautiful wooden jewelry box. The inside is beautifully felt lined, and the top is hinged. It is a "one-of-a-kind" Jewelry Box adorned with custom Artwork and would make a special gift to a friend or a loved one.

Meet the Maker
I am a proud lifelong Maine resident who recently retired from a busy Purchasing career and am now embracing the opportunity to reignite my creative passions. I live on a little pond with a big flower garden and a little kitty who loves to hide among the hostas! My many loves include painting, using Alcohol Inks or Acrylics. These mediums allow me to express my ever-evolving ideas using vibrant colors and abstract shapes. I also love making sparkly suncatchers that bring light and color to any space and can cheer up just about anyone by casting little rainbows and bits of light everywhere. Another fun thing I love creating are the beachy trinket dishes - which brings the ocean to you, even on the darkest winter day. Above all, my goal is to create anything that brings a smile to others' faces, whether through my art or my small fun creations. I am excited to spend my days diving into these artistic pursuits, forever learning and sharing my work with others.
How it’s Made
In creating this item, I start with a 4.25" square white ceramic tile which is well suited for Alcohol Inks. The inks do their thing by using air to move and blend the colors. When I'm satisfied with the outcome, I let the tile sit for a day before coating. The first coat is Varnish, which sets the inks. Then I apply a few coats of UV protectant spray, as Alcohol Inks tend to lose color throughout the years without it. Then the next day I give it two or three coats of clear acrylic spray. This tile then gets glued into the top of the jewelry box which already has an inset to place the tiles securely. Then the new box is born! Every box is unique so once one is sold, it cannot be reproduced, making it even more special as a gift.

Processing time: Items will be processed within 2-3 business days upon receipt of order.
Returns: I gladly accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations. I will need to be contacted within 5 business days of receipt of order.
Returns or exchanges must be shipped back within 10 business days after contacting me. Returned items must be received in original condition.
Repackage accordingly please. Upon inspection, if the item(s) are not received in original condition, a refund will not be issued.
The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
Note: Cancellations must be reported to me no later than 24 hours after placing the order so that shipping the order out is avoided.
