Durability:
How long the pinwheels last outdoors depends on the weather in your area. So far the feed back I've gotten has averaged between 3 to 5 years. The polyester paper that the pinwheels are made of is extremely durable and is designed with industrial and outdoor conditions in mind. I cannot provide a guarantee, however, ike all garden decor and furniture the sun eventually causes fading, but it is not immediate.

How it’s Made
Original art is by the artist Jerolyn Crute. Each pinwheel is hand assembled. Pinwheel wings are printed on polyester paper by a commercial printer in Santa Monica, CA and cut by the artist or assistants. Pinwheel sticks are hand finished by the artist and her assistants. Most wood beads are hand painted. Some beads are purchased. Wires are hand cut and crimped and tips hand dipped.
