About this Product
These two crossbody bags are made with a vintage quilt and pretty, antique French inspired fabric for the lining. The strap can be lengthened for a crossbody bag or shortened for a shoulder bag. The quilt had been a baby blanket, so the bags are soft and light weight. Sweet floral and geometric pattern fabric squares have a "cottagecore" vibe. The darker lining, with beautiful birds and flowers, gives a nice contrast to the quilt. There is a 6"w x 4-1/2" h pocket to keep keys and small items handy. The magnetic snaps, buckles and d-rings are antique brass, adding to the vintage look.
The bags are approximately 8"w x 9-1/2"h. The 3/4" strap runs 33"-62" long.

Meet the Maker
Hello! Welcome to my shop! My mom taught me to sew in the early 80's. I made a lot of my clothes back then. By the mid-90s, I realized I had a love of vintage and antique things. I found ways to use repurpose the "junk" as decor. In 2019, I started buying and reselling vintage finds and hand painted furniture. In July of 2024, I made a hard right turn and started collecting cutter quilts, old grain and feed sacks and other vintage material, then hauled out the sewing machine and went to work. I am a repurposer at heart. I love turning what is no longer serviceable as it is, into something pretty and useful.
I live in rural SE Ohio, part of the Appalachians. I love living almost in the middle of nowhere and being able to say, "I have to run to town". I enjoy hitting flea markets and estate sales with my husband, spending time in the garden and behind the camera, and hanging with my fur kids.
