The bag measurements when laying flat are 13.5" wide 10" tall and 8" for handle opening.
Completely line in 100% cotton fabric with drop pocket and magnetic snap closure. also has a vegan sturdy base with silver feet.
Suggested Care instructions: Spot Clean but It can be machine wash in cold water gently cycle and lay flat to dry. Insert is machine washable.
This unique shoulder bag is skillfully crocheted by me in my NJ Studio in natural raffia making it a sustainable fiber.
My Bags are Hand crafted one at a time. Each bag I make will always be a little different.

Welcome to Market Bags Boutique! We are absolutely delighted that you have chosen to visit us today!
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Josephine Scimeca. When my husband retired, he had a beautiful vision of cultivating a vineyard and a farm. So, we made the decision to move to Southern New Jersey, not too far from my children. We purchased a lovely piece of land, dedicating over 1 acre to growing grapes and vegetables. Let's not forget our charming addition of some chickens to the farm! :)
However, as part of our agreement, while my husband got his dream vineyard, I requested a space of my own for my creativity. Thus, the first thing he built was a magnificent studio for me to craft and have fun.
Having practiced the crafts of crochet and knitting for over 50 years, I have developed a profound love for crafting all sorts of items. What truly captivates me is working with exquisite natural fibers that exude beauty. It is this passion that inspires me to create sustainable and fashionable crochet market bags, totes, and purses. Each bag I meticulously craft is made from fine cotton and linen fibers, which are not only Eco-friendly but also provide a luxurious feel. Thus, every bag I create is truly one of a kind—I cannot emphasize enough that no two bags are exactly alike! They are all handmade by me, with the utmost care and attention to detail.

How it’s Made
Hand Crocheted in 2 colors of 100% Raffia yarn fully lined in a white cotton fabric.
The base is a Sturdy vegan oval with metal feet. Handles are made of resin Bamboo.
Magnetic snap closure.
