How it’s Made

When I saw this bird, I was like--"Is this a real image?" I'd never seen a bird with so much coloring. But it's real!! The Lilac-Breasted Roller is from Africa, and it's a real thing. Look it up!

I had to draw it. I mean, I had to.

And it was the first image I'd ever drawn that went "viral". Well, at least as much as something can go viral on Mastodon. I'd released it as a free bird wallpaper, and I got a LOT of followers after that. It received enough response that I made greeting cards of it.

And here we are!

Shop Reviews (1)

I purchased a set of waterfall cards from Coreyartus Imagery, but I don’t plan to use them as greetings; I actually purchased them to use in my personal meditation practice. When I saw Corey’s waterfall scenes, I fell in love with their ability to transport me into a different world. They’re even more beautiful in person. I’m really pleased with this purchase as well as the great customer service and thoughtful packaging by Corey. Such a wonderful shop to buy from!
