Losing a loved and cherished pet is never easy, whether it be from old age or illness. We do our best as pet parents to make them as comfortable as possible in their final moments. 

This Reiki Energy Healing Session is tailored specifically to help ease your beloved pet and bring them peace and comfort as they take the steps to their final journey over the Rainbow Bridge. Reiki Energy can help ease pain, anxiety, provide aid for rest, and give your pet comfort while also being reminded of the love you have given them the time they were with you.

Will Reiki accelerate the passing of my pet?

No, Reiki cannot accelerate the passing of your beloved pet. The purpose of Reiki is to bring a gentle blanket of peace and calmness over the animal that is close to passing. It also helps connect the animal to those that have passed on before them so they can be welcomed as they cross over. These types of sessions also bring a sense of "love" and "wholeness" to your pet. 

I have had the pleasure of performing reiki healing on several animals that were ready to cross over. End of Life Animal Care is one of my greatest passions and I hope I can bring a sense of peace to both you and your furry family member through this service. 

What is Reiki?

Reiki is Universal Life Source Energy. Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing founded by Dr. Mikao Usui. The word "Reiki" is formed by two different words, "Rei" which means "God's Wisdom, Spirit, or Higher Power" and "Ki" which means "Life Force Energy". Reiki is a form of life force energy healing from the divine source. Some people see this divine source as God, the universe, or from other divine beings. Reiki is a practice. Reiki cannot do harm; it can only help. It promotes overall health, well-being, sleep, and aids in healing damages in the energy body. Reiki is beneficial to both humans and animals.

How is Reiki performed? 

Reiki is "performed" through life force energy flowing through the practitioner's hands through Usui's symbols to direct the energy to specific areas of the body. The practitioner works as a "channel" for the energy to flow freely to the client. The practitioner can pick up on energy blockages, chakra blockages, potential pain and tension in certain areas of the body. The life force energy that is guided through the practitioner's hands to the client can help remove blockages and aid in healing the body both physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. 

How does Reiki work through long distance? 

Reiki is just as powerful, if not more so, through long distance. Energy healing does not need direct contact in order to be effective. Reiki works by directing life force to those who need it. Where it is directed, Reiki healing energy will go. 

On rare occasions, the body may reject the healing energy. This could happen for a few different reasons, some being that the client is not open and receptive to the energy healing, or the client just simply isn't compatible. In that case, other forms of energy healing would be recommended in place of Usui Reiki.

How do I do my energy healings?

For my energy healings, I start off by scanning the body and all Chakra points. I work from the Crown Chakra down to the Root Chakra. During the scan of the body, I look for blockages, energy parasites, and any other forms of spiritual damage that may be residing in the client's energy field. I take the time to focus on the specific points that need attention before performing a full body energy boost. Any findings that I may come across, I will take note of and write a short report to send to the client along with what was done to improve those findings.

• The client understands that I, Rachel Slater, the practitioner is a Certified Second Level Fourth Generation Reiki Practitioner. I have been fully attuned to only the Second Level Usui Reiki. 
• The client understands that there are no guarantees on the anticipated results of the energy healing session. 
• The client should understand that Reiki Energy Healing is an alternative and supplemental form of energy healing and should only be seen as spiritual and as entertainment despite the practitioner being certified as a Second Level Usui Reiki Practitioner.
• The client should understand that energy healing is only performed with consent by the client, and no other energy work will be done on the client without permission.
• The client understands that any health, behavioral, or other medical concerns are to be sought out by a medical or veterinary professional. The practitioner, Rachel Slater, does not make any medical, or veterinary claims and does not attempt or claim to treat any medical or health conditions. The practitioner also does not make any legal, mental health, or financial claims. 
• The client understands that energy healings are long distance and direct communication may not be available. All findings from the energy healing will be typed up and be sent directly to the client after the energy healing session is over.
