City scape domed creation that can be used as a candle holder or another option for illuminating light. Container is 4" tall and 4.5" wide (including the base), made of clay, glazes and Raku fired.

Meet the Maker
My interest in clays started with exploring various projects for kids. From there it grew into a fascination for the details within a face, the gracefulness of the hands, uniqueness of living forms. My original dba was 'A Different Wrinkle', I feel that the lines and wrinkles of each form tells its story. I'm constantly exploring and learning how to push my abilities to create various forms from the clays, as well as introduce mixed mediums into pieces to add details to help tell its story.
How it’s Made
This piece is both wheel-thrown, and hand built. Once I formed the pieces together, I carved out the city scape details, formed the windows, doors and stars so light can illuminate through the openings. Glazes applied and Raku fired.
