About this Product
This pendant is made of a large nautilus pearl (also called an Osmeña Pearl) wrapped in sterling silver wire. The pearl measures 48 x 23 mm and the pendant measures a little less than 2.5" in total length. It is an overall steel blue color, but hints of pink, purple, and gold can be seen in certain angles. Very unique gift idea!
The nautilus pearl is not truly a pearl at all, but a piece of the iridescent, nacreous inner shell of the family of shelled cephalopods called a nautilus, with a mother of pearl backing. They are often considered "living fossils."

I am the mother of three daughters. I also have four grandchildren, 2 boys and 2 girls. We all live here & see each other nearly everyday. I am very blessed.
I have been an artist all my life. I have painted in watercolor for over 40 yrs. I have been a paper maker for 16 yrs. Look in my shop sections for Fine Art and Handmade Paper. I have been a jewelry artist for 12 yrs.
I take my work seriously. I use the best materials and am proud of my creations. I’m in love with color change gemstones and feature them as often as I can. I also love American Gemstones and do some rock hounding myself.

I sourced this Nautilus pearl from a pearl dealer in Japan. It is so unique. I could not resist buying it.
My daughter, Rachel, wire wrapped it. I love this “pearl” so much I bought one for myself.
