These beautiful one of a kind handmade ceramic business card holders are sure to add elegance to your desk or home office. They were created out of a fine porcelain clay, painted with layers of different glazes and fired a third time to add a brilliant real gold luster. Meet the Maker
From a small farming community in California, Jazmin came to the big city of Long Beach, CA to further her education in art and experience of life. She attended Cal State Long Beach where she received a BFA in Ceramics and is now living the dream of teaching and sharing pottery with students of every age as well as concentrating on her own practice and growth. Everything hand made by Jaz is created with love and she hopes that when you drink, eat or enjoy the sight of her works of art that you also feel the love within the piece and share that love in your home and with the world around you.
How it’s Made
Each functional art piece was put together from a clay slab after rolling a beautiful floral pattern on the surface. They were fired to rock hard, then painted with layers of glazes, then fired over night again. Once cooled, the real gold luster is added to the rims of each piece and then they are fired the third and last time.
