About this Product

Functional. Recycled materials. Adorable. Easy to use. No two will ever be the exact same (like us). Did I mention adorable (also like us)? These macrame wristlets are created using vintage macrame cord on the inside (not visible) and strips of recycled fabrics knotted using traditional macrame knots. This offers the organic variegation in patterns shown and really unique texture. Nothin' wrong with a lil boho style! I have been using recycled/remnant fabrics a lot in my weavings lately and these wrist lanyards offer the perfect outlet to use up any scraps left over- and offer something new to you. Each is made with an easy open clip so you can effortlessly transfer the wristlet between your keys, phone, camera, purse, etc. An additional keychain ring is included with each wristlet (not pictured but I do add them on later.) The material after the clip is raffia yarn. It's super tough, like hemp, and offers an eye catching organic feel. If you would like another material used, or for your wristlet to be finished with fabric instead, please just shoot me a message with your order. My inventory of available fabrics is always changing. The options for these eco-friendly wristlets are: -Custom Wristlet is a specific color/pattern you want and we will design your wristlet together. -Mystery Wristlet meaning I will create a wristlet just for you out of the materials I have on hand at that time. Either option you choose, please know I message each person who purchases from my shop. Want to see your Mystery Wristlet before I ship it to you? No problem. -Regular finish is the quintessential, classic macrame wristlet look. -Spiral finish is knotted in a spiral for a fresh twist. (Photo 7 is a good example of the difference.) The wristlet opening measures in at approx. 9.5 in. around and 7 in. from end to end when laid flat, including the clip. Some may be a little tight at first to allow for stretch as you use it. The majority of the fabrics I use are recycled cottons. Sometimes strands of shag will present themselves. The best way to handle this is to simply snip off any unwanted shag, DO NOT pull them. Pulling the strands may damage the fabrics and cutting them will not. Because the fabrics are knotted, they are reinforced and won't unravel. Hand wash if they become soiled and lay flat to dry. Each macrame wristlet will be loving packed in recycled materials and every purchase includes free domestic shipping. Please reach out with any questions or ideas. Bulk orders welcome- these would make for a perfect, small gratitude gift! I'm always here. PS- wristlets made using vintage lace instead of fabrics are available. Thank you for reading the whole listing. Shoot me a message if interested.

Meet the Maker

I am a trickster by nature,

Woolf-like.

Methodical.

Some days more fox-like.

Mischievous.

Creating a gentleness and fluidity between the ordinary and the unordinary

is what I strive to do in my making process.

Ethereal trickery, maybe.

The fruition of curiosity leads to a pause for contemplation.

For a moment of quiet focus.

A rest.

Let it begin with your eyes.

Artist stand on the edge of a shallow pond. Canvas shoes can be seen as can the rough reflection of the artist in the water along with light refracting against algae covered stones underwater

Care Instructions:

NEVER LINT ROLL YOUR WEAVING. IT'LL GET WEIRD. Instead, simply hold it by the frame/hoop and flip it over. Lightly pat the back of the weaving to shake out any dust that has collected. Carefully trim off any unwanted/ghastly shag. Feel free to kind of 'massage' the fibers in a strumming motion from the back to freshen it up a bit.
