About this Product
This sunflower crossbody showcases the blemishes and imperfections of the recycled military tents used to create this bag. When I first saw the condition of my "art canvas," I really wondered what kind of design to add that would help tell its story. Sunflowers aren't necessarily something we think of when we think of military tents, but it did make me think of those who are serving or have served in the armed forces. They face hardships, trauma and distresses that leave them torn, battered and worn. They persevere and show, or try to show, the world around them a more sunny side, but the scars are still there. I almost kept this bag for myself because its story tugged so hard on my heart. Sunny features a front snap pocket with two cloth-lined zippered pockets. The long stap can be easily removed.

Hi, friend. It's a joy to meet and greet you! My name is Camielle, and I hail from the prairies of the Dakotas. Here, the wide open spaces allow the imagination to run wild, and the brisk breezes give flight to new ideas. If you watch the clouds and listen to the meadowlarks, they will tell you a story. While I love to hear a good story, I get pretty excited about telling a story; your story. Wood burners and paintbrushes might not be the traditional ways of writing a story, but the ending can be moving and meaningful. For instance, a cousin of mine wears a hat with a guitar because it makes her think of her son. A new friend gave her siblings brushes with a bee and honey design to remind them that their dad loved them more than a bee loves honey. A military crossbody bag with a flag design was given to a niece, to honor her dad, who was proud to be an American. Friend, there is so much potential to share your story in a beautiful, meaningful, and unique way. While I am not the author of your story, I would be tickled to be the illustrator. Maybe one of the creations you see in my shop will help you tell your story, or maybe you'd like to create your own design on one of our available items. How it’s Made
This recycled military tent bag was purchased from a company that honors those that serve or have served our country. I drew the design on the bag to shore and honor its story of valor and strength even through the hard stuff. A wood burner was used to complete the design. This was done by hand and not with a laser.

If you return an item, you are responsible for the return shipping charges.
Custom orders CANNOT be returned. While I love helping you artfully design your story, it is your story to share. Before I create your product, you will have the opportunity via email to deny and make changes to the design. This should make the likelihood of a return extremely minimal.
Refunds will be given for
the original purchase price of product and shipping if free shipping was not included.

Shipping
As a creator, I am just as excited for you to get your order as you are to receive it.
Your order will be processed and shipped in 2 - 4 business days. Allow for more time with custom orders, especially during the holidays.
Your order will be shipped through the USPS via Ground Advantage or Priority mail, and a tracking number will be sent to you. Lost and damaged orders are quite often out of our control. That said, If your item is damaged, please contact me!! I can't make it more positive if I am unaware.
Hat/Cap and Bag Care
A hat brush used lightly will help keep the dust off the hats and caps.
Do not machine wash.
Military bags dry clean only.
