About this Product
A horseshoe shape hug from a small round button, in different shades of red and translucent pieces, giving them a mosaic tile look. Seal-coated with UV resin and hung on surgical steel hooks. Overall size from the top of the hook is just under 2.5 inches (6.5 cm). When light is behind these earrings, the translucent bits glow. These are very light weight.

I'm Angela, and this is one day jewelry. Thank you for stopping by. The name comes from the initials of my husband and me, and a lucky number. Earrings are by far my favorite things to make, whether it's in beads, embroidery, clay, alcohol inks, acrylic paints, or some other technique I have yet to try. On occasion, you might also find non-jewelry items such as coasters or holiday ornaments.
How it’s Made
Shades of red clay were rolled into thin sheets, stacked, cut and restacked, then sliced and repositioned to make a striped slab. Pieces of that slab were chopped up and remixed with more translucent clay to create a mosaic-type look, then cut into shapes, baked, cleaned and coated with UV resin and assembled into earrings.
