Tiny Tinker 3D
Meet the Maker
I am retired and started 3D printing almost 10 years ago. Back in those days the only way that you could really get a printer was to import it directly from China. Times have really changed since then.
At first all I printed was things for the grandkids and things that could be used around our house. 5 years ago, I started another new hobby, doing the computer-controlled Halloween and Christmas light shows. I am using the 12-volt 5mm bullet pixels in my display. I found out very quickly that the props for this were very expensive, so I started designing and 3D printing my own props for my show. Things for Halloween like pumpkins, ghost and tombstones. For Christmas, I designed snowflakes, bells, stars and spinners to put up in my yard and on my house.
One of my next-door neighbors actually came over and ask me if I could 3D print something for his grandkids, and that got me started in printing toys and some items for household use. (ie-paper towel holders for the kitchen, remote control holders for our living room and lots more)
I love this hobby, and now have 8 3D printers in my shop, and am looking to add 1-2 more in the near future. Even though I am retired, my wife still works, and she is my biggest inspiration for things that I design and all of my hobbies. I am an "old school" type of person that believes that if you are going to do something, you should do it right. And also, to treat other people the way that you would like to be treated yourself.
I enjoy talking to and meeting new people, and if you get me started on my hobbies, you are in trouble because I can talk forever about them.
My goal here on Etsy is to provide products for my customers that they can be happy that they purchased them from me, and I will strive to continually improve my products and give excellent customer service for my customers.
