Rose hydrosol consider an antioxidant powerhouse, has extremely moisturizing properties that help to soothe itchiness, part of its moisturizing properties also aid in soothing redness and irritation in the skin. Rose hydrosol is also packed with vitamins A and C, which can help with aging skin. When it comes to moisturizing the skin, rose hydrosol helps to balance out moisture, meaning it can help to control excess oil production, being so deeply hydrating, it increases the water content in the skin as opposed to the level of oils; there are also astringent properties in roses that help to lift dirt and oil from the skin to help it maintain its natural pH balance.
Hibiscus infused gives this cream a beautiful pink color. Hibiscus flowers have anti-oxidant properties and inhibit elastin degradation, helping to maintain the skin's elasticity and thereby offering anti-aging effects, helping to target skin tone, anti-cellulite, and also helping to firm skin.
Vegan Squalane occurs naturally in the skin's lipid layers, it prevents transepidermal water loss (TEWL) while helping to restore the skin's suppleness and flexibility. Squalane is non-comedogenic and offers a silky, smooth and elegant texture.
Carrot oil contains a high percentage of beta-carotene as well as some vitamins. The body can transform beta-carotene into Vitamin A in the body, which is a great anti-aging compound. Carrot oil is thought to help with wound healing and soothing inflamed skin.

Green Leaf Suds is a woman-owned and operated business created in New York, USA with sustainability in mind. My name is Syntra I am the founder of Green Leaf Suds. I grew up living on a sunny Caribbean island, where everything was lush and green. My grandparents came to this island from India, they were vegan and lived an Organic Ayurvedic lifestyle, using ingredients from nature they created almost everything that sustains their existence, nothing was wasted, and nothing was destroyed. I was inspired to use this knowledge passed down to me, using organic plant products such as; oils, leaves, butter, and roots to create products that embrace the eco-friendly, minimalism, vegan lifestyle. I am also an Organic Skincare Formulator by profession. With the evolving demand for handmade vegan and natural skincare, I believe that having formal training is necessary to understand the nature, sustainability, and process of creating natural products that are safe by using the plethora of plant-based ingredients available to us in our ecosystem.
