Handcrafted using a rare and semi-translucent Rosella Opalite gemstone sourced from Australia, this stunning pendant is truly one-of-a-kind. The small pendant features intricate wire wrapping that beautifully enhances the natural beauty of the Opalite stone. With it's vibrant colors of translucent apple green blended with olive green and white accented by small bits of black dendrites, this rare gemstone is named after a green and red parrot that is native to Australia. There's only one! Each pendant I make is unique both because of the variations in the gemstones and because I wrap each one by hand. This truly awesome piece of wire wrapped jewelry was handcrafted by me in a smoke free environment.

Meet the Maker
Hello, my name is Diane and I am the owner and artist behind Artisan Rockhound. I started out as a Rockhound (a person who searches for and collects rocks and minerals as a hobby) and became an Artisan (a skilled craft worker who makes or creates material objects partly or entirely by hand). That's where my business name came from. I still love rockhounding and do it any chance I get plus I enjoy talking about rocks to whoever wants to listen.
Everything I sell is made in my Arizona, USA workshop with an emphasis on quality over quantity. The leather pouches I make with high quality Elk and Deer hide that I hand pick from various vendors. I use only glass beads, natural gemstones, metal, and authentic antler/bones as embellishments. All my products are proudly made in the USA. Each one is a unique one of a kind work of art. My products are already made when they enter the shop so they are ready to ship as soon as you buy them.

How it’s Made
This pendant is hand made by me in my Arizona, USA workshop using basic hand tools and high quality wire and a natural gemstone cabochon. The stone was sourced from Australia then shaped and polished by an expert lapidary artist in the US.
