This heirloom variety of beans is a deep rich color that is similar to dark red wine and is disease resistant. The Royal Burgundy Bean plants produce a large number of beans that are stringless, straight, and sweet with earthy nuances. The beans inside are green and have a tender mouthfeel.
These can be used fresh, shelled, or dried. While waiting for your beans to grow, you can enjoy the enchanting bright purple flowers that are sure to attract your bee friends!
Each plant can grow to be 2 feet tall. These do well in traditional gardens, raised beds, and even in containers and pots!
