PURPLE PASSION CLUTCH BAG
I constructed this small purse from a couple of new wool blend skirts. The back, front sides and strap are a very deep royal purple ~ The center piece is a jacquard design of gray, taupe, black, purple, raspberry, orange and green ~ 2 strips of white ruffled lace separate the pieces ~ The lining is a khaki green/gray flannel with a small slip pocket. It has a zipper closure and a removable wrist loop that can be used as key fob
Purse is 10 ¼” wide x 6 ½” tall
Pocket is 3 ½” x 4 ½”
Strap is 7” long with 5” opening
Perfect size on its own, or can be thrown in your “Big” bag to corral the small items ~ Perfect for small eReaders (check your size)

Meet the Maker
I am a mom of 2 and Grandma to 3 precocious little ones! I have crafted my entire life (Thanks, MOM!) and worked the last 16 years in a Tailoring Shop. Now that I am retired, it is time to share my stash of "creations". I sew, knit, crochet and embroider mostly, although I have dabbled in painting some wood crafts and am attempting some jewelry creations. I am an active "scavenger" for vintage fabric, trims, buttons, beads, buckles, baubles and other odd items to use in my creations. Because of this, I rarely make the same item twice the same way. I feel this ensures a type of personalization for each unique customer!

How it’s Made
I used to work in a Tailor Shop, so when really nice clothing came in to be altered, I saved the cut-off pieces. These 2 pieces of wool just had to be made into something, and this clutch was it!
