Stunning sterling silver and ruby agate earrings feature faceted bright ruby red agate beads that are stacked on embossed sterling silver marquise shapes. They drop from handmade sterling silver ear wires and measure 1 1/2 inches long by 5/8 of an inch wide.

How it’s Made
I made these unique gemstone jewelry earrings by first cutting, filing and forming the sterling silver marquise shapes. Then I embossed the shapes with a wavy pattern, ensuring the earrings would be bookmatched and gave them a slight concave shape. Next I punched holes in the tops and bottoms of the marquise shapes and threaded the 20 gauge sterlng silver wire, adding the faceted ruby agate beads, and carefully bending the wire at the top to form the ear wires.
