About this Product

This unique piece is 19 in x 11 in.

This Serving Tray has original Acrylic painting on reclaimed pallet wood. The hand painted chickadee and tree branches are framed in with pieces of reclaimed, aged white painted barn wood.   A nice, summer touch to a front porch or to an ottoman or coffee table. Trays are held together with two thin backer boards on the bottom.

**All of my creations are made of reclaimed boards. They are hand painted and are made after they are ordered. Although I try to duplicate the original as closely as possible, there may be slight variations because no two boards are identical.  Paintings may vary in size by 1/2" to 1" either way.  Painted and shipped in 7-10 days.

Signed by Artist.

Please contact me with any questions or inquiries for custom orders of different sizes.

Thanks!

Meet the Maker

Hello! I’m Jodi and thanks for stopping by.

I live in beautiful West Michigan near the Lake Michigan shoreline with my husband and four sons. We are blessed to have four seasons to enjoy the ever-changing scenery. I love to create unique paintings and projects that capture people’s attention made from what my son calls “firewood”. The aging and weathering process has such an interesting effect on wood. It is a great accent to my paintings and gives each piece warmth and character.

How it’s Made

I love to create unique paintings and projects that capture people’s attention made from what my son calls “firewood”. The aging and weathering process has such an interesting effect on wood. It is a great accent to my paintings and gives each piece warmth and character.

I power wash and strip all pallets and fencing myself. I cut it in sections, apply a backer-board with wood glue and brad nails to hold the wood strips in place. I always use water-based wood stains and acrylic paint.

I also use recycled cardboard that I source from a local bodyshop for the shipping box that I custom make for each painting.
