About this Product
When it comes to same sex marriages, finding suitable presents for the groom and groom or the bride and bride can be a bit of a challenge.
Enter the Same Sex Wedding Lucky Voodoo Dolls.
NOTE: Voodoo Dolls are LUCKY. No black magic and no evil intent. All for good fortune and fun.
While I’ve been making bride and groom Lucky Voodoo Dolls for several years – one even with a pregnant bride – the same sex wedding doll idea was one of those eureka moments that fills a giant void in the wedding gift registry.
I’d like to say the idea came to me in a dream – but I’d be lying.
The idea instead came from an order across the country from a woman whose son and his partner enjoyed a civil ceremony in October.
Mom gave me a bit of insight into the two grooms: their passions, their favorite colors, their jobs, the fact that they both wore glasses.
Voila – the happy groom and groom were born.
Dolls measure approx. 12 inches high and created with recycled fabrics, gems, hardware parts and other items. Heads are lightweight Model Magic clay. Body frames from sticks lovingly culled from the Rillito River wash in Tucson. Sticks used to come from the yard of a Brooklyn church but I moved.
Dolls are fully customized and shipped priority mail one week after order is confirmed.
Customized bride and groom Lucky Voodoo Dolls also available. Photo of bride and groom included in line-up of groom and groom photos to give you idea of bride dolls. Photos serve as a general example and not the dolls you will get. You customize your order.
Price is per couple, or for two dolls.

Rynski Life: Rynski Art, Books + Play
Meet the Maker
Hi. I'm Ryn Gargulinski. But you can call me Rynski.
I was born with a Sharpie marker in hand. Well, not really. But I discovered the joy of creation very early in my life. My handmade items include custom illustrations, metal yard art – including my signature “Beware of Dog” sign – clay and faux fur fantasy figurines, lucky voodoo dolls, books, paintings and more.
Anything I see that looks like it can be turned into art gets turned into art. Either that, or it sits in my backyard, garage or studio until sometime trips on it enough times to throw it away.
RYNSKI SUCCESS STORY
Ryn Gargulinski [Rynski] is an award-winning writer, artist, coach, Reiki master and dog lover who once traded her artwork on the streets of New York City just to eat and get her daily beer. She has since given up drinking and now has enough money to eat—even organic!
She has also expanded her art into a successful enterprise, her writing and branding services into a thriving business, and her coaching, healing and speaking into a growing practice that has already helped many realize and expand into their true potential.
Credentials include 10 published books, more than a dozen awards, and 20+ years in recovery from alcohol. Don’t forget the two happy hounds, one happy hubby, and one helluva crystal collection.
Her life purpose is to use her creativity, experience and humor to inspire others to live lives filled with freedom and joy. And yes, that includes bringing freedom and joy to dogs.

Shop Policies
Processing Time: Orders are handcrafted and typically ship within 10 business days after ordering. Some orders may take longer based on scope of creation process.
Return Policy: Returns and exchanges are generally not accepted. Exceptions may possibly be made for specific situations. Please contact rynski@rynskilife.com within three days of receiving your order with any questions or concerns.
Care Instructions: Most metal art is designed for indoor or outdoor use. This includes using rust-resistant paint, galvanized sheet metal and clear coat for protection. If used outdoors, be aware of the impact the weather conditions will have on your piece. Outdoor art does best when not in the path of a sprinkler and/or not exposed to harsh winter elements. You may spray a protective coating, such as clear coat, on the piece once a year or more to help preserve the painting.
FAQ's
Do you do custom orders? Yes! Please contact rynski@rynskilife.com with details and I can
provide an estimate for the piece you want created.
Can the signs be put on stakes in the yard? And do you provide the stakes? Yes and no. Yes: The signs work great on outdoor stakes. No: I do not provide the stakes.
You can use a wooden or metal rod, U-bar or T-bar sold at most hardware stores. My metal signs usually come with one hole in the top center and a ready-to-hang hook or chain. If you are planning to use a stake, let me know in advance and I can create an additional hole in the bottom center if desired.
Can the signs be put on fences or walls? Yes. Metal art pieces usually come with one hole in the top center and a ready-to-hang hook or chain. If you are planning to secure your piece to a fence, wall or other fixture, let me know in advance if you would like additional holes created at the bottom or corners of the sign for improved security.
